Skiers heading to the slopes this year via Ryanair can bring their skis for free. But hurry - the offer closes at midnight this Wednesday - the deal saves individual passengers €80 on ski carriage. The crux? The offer is only open to the first 10,000 passengers. Ryanair’s Winter Ski Programme 2009/10 offers flights to airports in Cuneo, Grenoble, Lourdes, Salzburg and Turin - all of which are reasonably near to major resorts.
Could it be, could it possibly be true? Ireland to become a world leader in, I can barely say it, broadband? While they sat round eating curry or tending to their kids, hounding traders could be heard over the babbling, selling ice cream, magazines, chai, curry and coffee. I felt high from all the colour of activity.
DIY is not a term that is traditionally associated with weddings but the credit crunch has meant that thrifty brides are getting crafty. From invitations to flowers, brides on a budget can save hundreds of euro by doing it themselves.
