It's a slippery slope it seems when it comes to ski holidays. Despite the snow laden pistes and optimum ski conditions, it seems our love affair with winter sports has been put on ice while the recession continues to hold us in its wintry grip. Seems like the situation is becoming more desperate for mortgage holders - the Irish Independent predicts an avalanche of repossessions as new figures show that 6400 people stopped paying their mortgages more than a year ago.
